No matter how nice you are, when selling your property it’s always best not to meet your buyer until after completion of your sale. Here are the 3 top reasons why:

You may not like them. Even with the most likable buyers and sellers, it’s easy for a simple comment to get misconstrued. This will make any potential negotiations very difficult and uncomfortable.

You can say too much. It’s easy to get carried away and caught up in the moment. Sometimes it’s best to keep quiet about that busy road or even lack of storage facilities.

Less is more. The less a buyer knows about you, the better. Any financial reasons for selling, a buyer could use to their advantage when it comes time to making an offer. Reasons like a divorce, or a baby on the way are like having an arrow above your head flashing with the words “Quick Sale Needed! Make Me A Cheeky Offer!”
