3 TIPS ON HOW TO DEAL WITH BUYING NERVES

It’s perfectly normal to feel nervous when you’ve found a home you wish to buy.

Is it a big purchase after all! But, you need to have faith in yourself that this is what you’ve planning for.

Maybe you’re confusing the nerves with excitement! It’s a great feeling when you’ve finally chosen the home you’ve been talking about for so long and getting butterflies is perfectly normal.

If you’re feeling a little anxious about making a decision to buy, here are 3 tips to expel the negative and focus on the positive.

1. PRICE - Do you know what the total price is you’ll be paying for the purchase, including all legal costs? If you can positively answer this with a yes, then there’ll be no surprises down the line!

2. IS THERE SOMETHING BETTER? - If you keep second guessing yourself thinking “maybe there’s an even better house out there,” you need to stop yourself in your tracks! Don’t you remember how many homes you’ve looked at online, before you fell in love with the one you’ve chosen? Instead you need to give yourself a pat on the back and remind yourself of all of the legwork you did upfront! Score the property you’ve chosen on a scale of 1 - 10. An 8 or higher, you’re making a great purchase! Think about this... you could be looking for over a year and never find a perfect 10!

3. IS IT LEGAL? - Do your “Due Diligence!” In plain English this means employ a Lawyer and let them make sure you’re purchasing a legal property. This will give you peace of mind that your investment is safe.

Stop doubting your decision and look to the future! Make your purchase an exciting adventure. I’m sure your choice will be perfect!
